@Kyeh Yep that is a cat that likes playing in water, Well mine don’t the only water it likes is what is in his bowl. let any other water come close to him, well He would outrun Lighting to get away!
@Kyeh@narfcake Thor gets picky at times, some times will not even play with a Ball, Plus Mirrors don’t even phase him. I guess he knows that it Him in the Mirror as he is being held by me!
I don’t listen to podcasts much, and never while “doing the dishes” because the Kitchenaid does that, but when I do, it’s usually “Well, there’s your problem”, which is a rambling mess of self-threadjacking stuff that eventually gets around to the nominal topic du jour. Sometimes they’ll spend an entire two minutes on that topic. The podcasts typically run over an hour and a half (or seem like it, at least.)
@kittykat9180 I was starting to think it’s just me… I can’t stand just listening to people talk, but that falls apart a little when I watch people talk on the YouTubes, so maybe it’s just because I hate the word podcast
@kittykat9180 I’m not a podcast fan. Podcasts take 30-45 minutes to say something I can read in 3 minutes or less. Having random strangers in my kitchen conversing among themselves while I work? Nope. I’d rather listen to the birds outside my window.
@kittykat9180@rockblossom Yeah, and YouTube “instructional” videos too. They’re usually way longer than they need to be and are done by people auditioning for the role of Captain Obvious.
I stare out the kitchen window at the neighbors house like a normal person. Only time I listen to podcast is when nothings on the radio, then it’s spooked.
I listen to about 20 different podcasts about all kinds of things: My Favorite Murder; Past Tens, a Top Ten Time Machine; Ruined; The Omnibus; and The Box of Oddities are my favorites. I listen all day long, even part of the time I’m working, depending on how hard I have to think about what I’m working on.

@mycya4me @narfcake That’s pretty cute, but I prefer the real cats.
@Kyeh @mycya4me We’d be knocking them off, though, no?

Not that I’m a cat, y’know.
@mycya4me @narfcake Toby doesn’t! He’d lick anything tasty, though.

The closest I get a “podcast” is watching “Only Murders in the Building “!

@meh In the poll, “recamps” should be “recaps.”
D&D live plays because I’m a nerrrrrrrrrd.
Were You Raised by Wolves, a modern manners podcast
I like podcasts, but I do miss having time to read.
If anything, I like listening to a TV show I already saw; it’s like listening to music, I recall the visuals with only the audio cues.
