Thanksgiving is a complex logistical endeavor that is centered on travel and lodging. Family and friends are strewn throughout the country and world. The plan begins on Thanksgiving Day for the next Thanksgiving.
Travel plans/discussions (whose house vs do we all get a house on the beach again this year) start early part of the year.
Menu planning starts a few weeks before (some vegans some not)
Meal prep starts a couple of days before/early part of the week.
