Hey I have two pillows, the bottom one is a thick bamboo, the 2nd/ top one is a contour one! I sleep on my side most of the time.

The side my head is on. (My pillow is very ordinary, and does not have the “hot/cool” dichotomy. This makes things much simpler.)
My pillow is latex foam, both sides are equal.
