13You have clearly disregarded rule #7 (Reciprocation is frowned upon) of the Secret-Not-So-Secret coffee club. @yakkoTDI told me he was having a friend of is (also named Josh) make something for me. I shamed him but said thank you as my mother always taught me to do 
Today, when I got the mail, I found an unexpected package. Two small hand painted canvases that are so very incredibly awesome. I think I’m going to hang them right next to the painting @Sillyheathen made for me.
Rules are rules… knock it the f-off you guys Thank you so much YakkoTDI. These will be cherished. But you really need to follow the rules But seriously, these are wonderful. Thank you and please send my thanks to Josh. I love that they are numbered and dated. I got #2900 and #2901

So not only is his name Josh (https://joshcomics.com/ ) but he is an artist and the way that I met him is that he worked at a coffee shop owned by a different friend of mine. He will definitely join in on the Joshpocalypse when you get around to starting it.

Yeah I’m with Kyeh here! Our guy Tuc (a Himalayan cat) not only follows us around the house but he’s ALWAYS waiting at the door to greet us when we come home! We even hear him meowing for us as we walk up the stairs and after we leave he runs to the bedroom window and watches us get into the car. He acts more like a dog than any cat I’ve ever seen! Jus sayen…!

I have no problem with cats, I like cats.
But between the two, I prefer dogs.
My last dog I used to say he was a cat stuck in a dog’s body. He never barked at the door bell, or anything at all, and he didn’t seem to care when I came home from work (I’m now fully remote). He was the chillest dog ever. He was also 105lbs.

THAT was us, Zoo City, we had birds, chickens, lizards, turtles, fish etc. 
It was a LOT! 
And, at 150 pounds I think I’d prefer chill! Lol 
Yeah I get it, usually people are one or the other unless they are living in a zoo!
But these days it’s only sweet man Tuc!

I don’t know, I never had a sweet smelling litter box.
My dog wouldn’t pooh in his yard so I had to walk him. Dogs are furry exercise machines.
I once had a 6lb cat and 105lb Neapolitan Mastiff (both my big dogs were near identical weight). One time the cat walked up to the dog and slapped the shit out of her and ran off. The dog was left stunned and confused. There was also a neighbor cat that would chase her on our walks, so we avoid that street.
@chienfou @kittykat9180 @Lynnerizer @narfcake And we once had a cat so mellow and sweet that the vet could clean his teeth without anesthesia, and a wolf-hybrid dog came into our yard, where that sweet elderly cat was sunning himself, and killed him.
And when I see dog owners stooping over to pick up fresh steaming piles of dog poo, I’m grateful that cats just use a litter box. (But I’m also grateful for those responsible dog owners!)

Aww, I’m sorry to hear about your poor kitty.
A friend of mine has a cat that lets him massage her gums (she enjoys it), also mess with her legs and tail and all kinds of other stuff most cats would shred you for. lol Her tolerance of his antics amazes me.
And then he has his goofy, endless energy GSP.
The dog and the cat are friends, but the cat is definitely the boss.
Picking up the pooh is my least favorite part of dog ownership, especially since I always have large breeds.

Wife and I watched a silly rom-com on Netflix last night called Unleashed. Very predictable but worth watching just for the depiction of dogs and cats in the movie.
@chienfou @kittykat9180 @Lynnerizer @narfcake I really think of cats as introverts and dogs as extroverts, and I guess as an introvert, cats just make sense to me! It seems to match my family, too - my brother & I are a lot alike & prefer cats; my mother & sister are more outgoing & prefer dogs.
