/youtube Linus with Linus
Kinda interesting. To have a casual Linus Torvalds interview. Nothing ground breaking. Just kinda… Fun
I had me a time with Ubuntu OS around the same time Windows Vista came out. It was fine, of course but I went back when winders 10 came out.
I’ve still got a couple of chromebooks that have “aged out” of Chrome updates. (Bullshit if you ask me) I need to put some lite weight Linux on them.
@therealjrn I have a Samsung Chromebook 2 w/ 16GB MMC running Linux Mint; Mint Mate is a good option. Format the MMC to EXT2 to minimize writes and put a ~16-64GB SD Card in and mount that to /home; Still a bit slow, but battery runs forever.
@caffeineguy Thanks! I’ll make a note and do that! Sounds pretty simple, goat!
