If you’re going to make a smart shower, give it features I actually need, like, blasting “keep your head up” by Andy Grammer when I start crying in the shower
My 25 yo adjustable-spray shower head is doing fine, or I might be tempted. But honestly, the gimmick that tempts me? Is the hydro-power. That’s… That’s actually pretty clever. I’m not clear how that works with low water pressure to improve pressure (maybe by reducing diameter to increase speed/pressure?) but it’s a cool idea.
Now, do I want to open an app to fiddle with temp every shower instead of the time-honored ritual of just sticking out my hand?
Ahahaha no.
Do I want my shower to nag me that I’m exceeding my water quota just trying to feel good for a few minutes, while regional data centers spike power costs, consume water, and pollute what they leave?
Also no.
I do think the hydroelectric power in your shower is cool. But maybe it could do something less depressing?
I do find it funny that even in liquidation, the regular flow head sells for more than the water saver. The flow restrictors of the latter model would likely have a slightly higher BOM cost. Does the manufacturer still have some say on the pricing even in closeout to incentivize buying the water saver model even if neither is insanely overpriced anymore?

That sell in December
I can’t be arsed to count nozzels, meh. I ask you, which of your pictures are correct?

@therealjrn That’s a good question – I would assume the 2nd since it seems most consistent with the number of nozzles shown on their site and Amazon.
Hai @troy, that’s what I surmised as well. Thanks!

@alacrity why can’t the sell something like this!
@alacrity @mycya4me We’ll always have shower beer.
@alacrity Y’know.
There used to be a shower-spraying device that would spray cleaner to reduce water deposits.
And the cleaner was loaded into a bottle you just popped into the sprayer.
It didn’t really catch on. I think it didn’t work that well. But it seemed like a neat idea (so of course I have one).
And there is nothing to stop a person rinsing the heck out of everything, loading up the bottle with margarita, and taking a margarita shower.
I wonder how many will try to program the shower head while in the shower?
HAL is in control of my cleanliness now?

I don’t hate the concept of a shower head that can measure water temperature but this should have been an LCD display instead of Bluetooth and an app.
